SKILLA was nominated again to be apart of IAMTHETREND.COM’s TEE MADNESS Contest. The voting started Monday (3/14/11)  and we made it pass the 1st round, thanks so much. What is the TEE MADNESS Contest?

Quite simply Tee Madness takes 64 of the best up and coming t-shirt brands and has them square off in a March Madness style tournament. Once competition opens up each round will consist of two “teams” squaring off to get the most votes. The team with the most votes at the end of each round will move on till we crown the Second Annual Tee Madness Champion!

What is the schedule?

* Round 1: Monday March 14th (NOON EST) through Wednesday March 16th (Midnight EST) - PASS
* Round 2: Thursday March 17th (NOON EST) through Friday March 18th (Midnight EST)
* WEEKEND BREAK!
* Sweet 16: Monday March 21st (NOON EST) through Tuesday March 22nd (Midnight EST)
* Elite 8: Wednesday March 23rd (NOON EST) through Thursday March 24th (Midnight EST)
* Final 4: Friday March 25th (NOON EST) through Friday March 25th (Midnight EST)
* WEEKEND BREAK!
* Championship Game: Monday March 28th (NOON EST) through Tuesday March 29th (8pm EST)

The wait is over.

First of all I must say thank you to Bishop Steve for making this possible because I know they don’t really do allow this but I will just call it favor. I have have been a long time attendee at the Northeast Winterfest, from being apart of the talent show, to having my heart richly blessed by some great artists/speakers and not to mention meeting some great people, who are now my awesome friends. So now have a booth at this event is a total honor and a true testament of God’s favor because as I said they keep the vendors pretty in house. The only downer is that I won’t be there in the flesh but two just as awesome Skillas will be there, my brother and mom. So all my COG peeps stop by, say hello, take pics and pick up some of your favorite SKILLA gear.

Well the long awaited release is here and this is only the 1st of a few more goodies to drop in the Fall/Winter season. In this release you will see the new typography design for the “birth of the hero” tee and 2 new color ways for the “music for all” tee, heather grey for guys & fuchsia for ladies. Plus fresh new cases for all ours belts. Last but definitely not least, all orders from now until the end of the year will be free shipping in the US/Canada and $5 worldwide shipping. Hey Skilla Fam

Fall is here and I’m starting to get goose bumps about all the new movement and opportunities brewing here at SKILLA. I want so much to let you in on some of what is going on but I hope you can be patient for a little longer (I’m waiting until all is confirmed), trust me it will be worth the wait. That being said, what I can tell you is that the new gear will be out early November. The idea is to make this a really exciting and inspiring release, that it can create a domino effect for all the others to come. looking forward to everyone’s feedback on the movement once it’s released.

While driving around the neighborhood spreading the word about the youth explosion at our church, my wife and I ran into this day care center that was designed to look like Noah’s Ark. Man this is what you talk about standing out. If I needed one I would defiantly look into having my kids go there just for the presentation. Very refreshing!
