SKILLA will be heading to Charleston, SC this Friday (3/25/11) during their fashion week. The event/show is called “The Big Mix” @ Eye Level Art – 103 Spring Street – Charleston, SC from 7pm – 11pm. I heard about this event after linking up with KJ over at h1gher.com, his plain is to create the first ever celebration of Southern streetwear culture. So If you are in the area stop by, all SKILLA goodies will be on sale.

My good friend Kaylene sent over some pics of our table at the convention/concert in Rochester, NY. My brother held down the fort in my absence. Him and my mom took care of everything and got products moving. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and supported the brand at Winterfest.

First of all I must say thank you to Bishop Steve for making this possible because I know they don’t really do allow this but I will just call it favor. I have have been a long time attendee at the Northeast Winterfest, from being apart of the talent show, to having my heart richly blessed by some great artists/speakers and not to mention meeting some great people, who are now my awesome friends. So now have a booth at this event is a total honor and a true testament of God’s favor because as I said they keep the vendors pretty in house. The only downer is that I won’t be there in the flesh but two just as awesome Skillas will be there, my brother and mom. So all my COG peeps stop by, say hello, take pics and pick up some of your favorite SKILLA gear.

IT’S ABOUT 25 MINS FROM NEW YORK!

The show in Englewood, NJ was great, it started out slow but right before the fashion show it started to pick up. The people were very nice and I made some really good networking connections for the future. They also had a fashion show, which was pretty nice, so I’m pleased with the overall experience.

I went out and got me some racks to use at shows, it makes everything look better and setup it much more quicker.There goes my brother, he has been a real big help to me at these shows.

Come hang out with SKILLA this weekend @ The 8th Annual Skylands Harvest Fest hosted by The New Jersey Botanical Garden, October 3-4, 10 am to 5 pm, at Ringwood State Park in Ringwood, NJ. This fun-filled family weekend will feature hayrides,pumpkin painting, face painting, free garden and manor tours, storytellers, October fest food and beer tastings, live music, and craft show featuring handmade wares by local artisans. FREE ADMISSION AND PARKING.

The NTT End of Summer Concert was awesome. I got meet some really wonderful people ans also hang out with some awesome SKILLA fans. Also got to network with a few of the featured artist at the concert, check out PSALMIZT & G.O.D. SENT.
